Stephen Hersey
My wife and I have English, Italian, French-Canadian, Native American (Mohegan), Irish, Scottish, German, Polish and Czech ancestry and have researched exensively in many other countries.
I am the author of the 530+ page genealogy The Hersey Family - Tracing the Descendants of William Hersey of Hingham, MA 1635-Present
I am the retired founder of Books for America - a national non-profit organization which donated over a million books to and built libraries in hundreds of schools, shelters, prisons and many other wonderful places.
My wife and I live in historic Alexandria, Virginia with our kids, two incredibly sweet Cavalier King Charles spaniels, and an office filled with genealogy journals, local history books and family trees hanging on the walls.
